Filmed forwards.
Hung backwards.

When the register holds entries they stand here as a strip you scan sideways — one hatched frame and one plaque each. A frame stays hatched until a clip is embedded from its creator’s own posting: a decorative still in its place would imply a film is playing that is not.

How the museum works

1. IV

   Acquired, never rehosted

A work is hung by embedding it from wherever its creator published it, credited and linked back to the source. That is the rule this museum is built to. No work has been hung under it yet.

2. III

   Framed and plaqued

A hung work gets a wing and two lines of curator: what was filmed forward, and what the reversal turns it into. The frame stays hatched and empty until a clip is embedded in it.

3. II

   Judged in a duel

Two works, one question — which reversal is better. The duel is not running. There is no vote writer behind it, so a vote button here would record nothing, and there is not one.

4. I

   Open to wander

Walk the strip, read the index, or take one wing at a time. Free, and no account is asked for anywhere on this site.
